The most common argument against behavior charts is that they can be reductive and one-dimensional. I dabbled in them in my early teaching days but it never felt right to me. I sit there, too! I will love her forever for helping him feel better about himself.

In past classes, I have used the bonus jewels as a motivator to recognize 10 Accelerated Reader tests completed at or above the 85% score.
