Just watched the video-fantastic footage,she was in the right place at the right time but the poor girl is getting so much trolling for posting it,on the one hand i suppose it would have been better not to have posted it and got the pilot into trouble but on the other hand he knew the rules and broke them,however i'm sure his CO has had a quiet word in his shell like and he won't be doing that again!. by Blackcat1 » Tue Jan 01, 2019 4:16 pm, Post No rules have been broken by the poster, it wasn't posted on FC it was posted on Twitter and no rules on what you post other than pornography apply. The answer to over influx of people in the Mach loop is to move away from what is in fact a congestion point for a/c, anything going into LFA 7 more or less goes through the "loop".

Move the majority of low level stuff into LFA14 and due to the geographical size and remoteness of it you will not have the same conflict between people and a/c.

The Mallwyd/Dinas to Bwlch y Groes route has still been used by a few RAF flights. But that's a rumour. Spent 4 days in the Loop during the summer a few years ago & didn't see anything until the last day when 2 Tornados went through at 5pm. There's been a few Eagles through the loop & Navy Hawk T1s. It's a LFA/MTA , push it to the limits, its what makes the RAF the best of the best. The training area is within the Low Flying Area (LFA) LFA7, which covers most of Wales.
